The 22 hectares of the Vigna Traverso estate are planted with white grape vines (Ribolla Gialla, Pinot Grigio, Friulano, Sauvignon and Chardonnay) as well as red varieties like Schioppettino di Prepotto, Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc.
True heritage of the estate are these half-a-century old vines of the historic varieties of this particular wine-growing area. The vineyards were renovated in 2000, by changing the old vineyard trellis system with new wooden vine posts, and introducing the Gouyot vine-training system: yield per plant is kept low to achieve higher quality grapes.
